Under 2017 ingick Danish Agro-koncernen avtal om uppköp av aktier i sex maskinåterförsäljare i Danmark som säljer CLAAS. Med undantag för investeringen i ALMAS Agro A/S, krävdes att alla uppköp skulle godkännas av det danska konkurrensverket, Konkurrence- och Forbrugerstyrelsen, för att gå igenom. Nu har köpen godkänts.
Säljare, servicetekniker och reservdelspersonal har varit på plats i Mälardalen ett bra tag. Nu invigs Swedish Agro Machinery och Swedish Agros gemensamma anläggning i Enköping.
Efter ett års letande är det nu klart att Swedish Agro Machinery får en fysisk anläggning i Borlänge. I juni flyttar företaget in i befintliga lokaler på Tunavägen på industriområdet Romme i de södra delarna av staden.
Vid årsskiftet blev Östra Sönnarslöv Traktorservice en del av det danska koncernföretaget Danish Agro. Traktorservice blir därmed ett dotterbolag till Swedish Agro Machinery.
Henning Haahr took over as Group CEO of Danish Agro in the autumn of 2017 from Christian Junker, who stepped down after 30 years at the top. Danish Agro's strategy under Junker was focused on creating value for owners and farmers through growth and development, based on a group with healthy finances. According to Haahr, nothing will change in that respect under his leadership.
