  • News from CLAAS - Swivelling lower links for negotiating bends during mowing

    CLAAS and Hans Sauter GmbH have jointly developed a hydraulically swivelling front lower links system for use with mounted front and rear mower combinations. This reduces or even completely eliminates strip of grass being left when negotiating bends and mowing on slopes. This makes a significant contribution to higher forage quality, especially on tractors with wider tyres and a wide track width.

  • CLAAS reduces series production at Harsewinkel in a controlled manner

    The ongoing spread of the corona virus and increasing restrictions within the supply chain cause CLAAS to reduce series production in Harsewinkel in a controlled manner until the end of next week. It will initially be discontinued for three weeks until 17 April. While many national and international CLAAS locations continue to work, production in France had already been scaled back last week.

    CLAAS has opened the extension to its central Parts Logistics Centre in Hamm. After a planning and construction period lasting over two years the new high-bay warehouse has now been commissioned according to schedule.

    CLAAS, one of the leading international manufacturers of agricultural equipment, recorded a slight year-on-year rise in sales at €3.898 billion (prior year: €3.889 billion). Income before taxes fell to €136 million (prior year: €226 million).

  • CNH Industrial joins DataConnect

    CNH Industrial has joined DataConnect, a data interface project recently announced by CLAAS, John Deere and 365FarmNet. With the addition of CNH Industrial brands Case IH, New Holland Agriculture and STEYR, the cloud-to-cloud effort now includes five major farm equipment brands and their respective telematics platforms.

  • SCORPION updates include new top model

    CLAAS has updated the SCORPION range to include a new top model – the 960 with 6.5 t lifting capacity. The telehandler range features a host of refinements and now complies with the Stage V emission standard.

  • CLAAS launches the assistance system CEMOS for tractors

    CEMOS for tractors is a dialogue-based operator assistance system which optimises machine settings to get the best results from the tractor and attached implement. The system is now available for ARION and AXION tractors.

  • ARION 600/500 and AXION 800 now with Stage V engines

    CLAAS is introducing engines compliant with the Stage V emissions standard in the AXION 800 as well as the ARION 600 and 500 for the 2020 model year. These latest models feature a number of other innovations, including the option to control ISOBUS-compatible machines via the CEBIS terminal.

  • XERION with crawler tracks and Stage V engines

    CLAAS launches the XERION TRAC TS with four crawler tracks. The system tractor range also features Stage V engines and CEBIS with touchscreen. The new XERION 4200 replaces the XERION 4000.

  • AXION 900 TERRA TRAC available in two models

    After unveiling the prototype at Agritechnica 2017, CLAAS is now releasing two versions of its unique half-track tractors with full suspension for the 2020 season – the AXION 960 TERRA TRAC and 930 TERRA TRAC.
