    ​CLAAS will restart series production of harvesting technology and tractors at the sites in Harsewinkel (Germany), Le Mans (France) and Törökszentmiklós (Hungary) this coming Monday. Baler production in Metz (France) is also scheduled to resume step by step a few days later.

  • News from CLAAS - Swivelling lower links for negotiating bends during mowing

    CLAAS and Hans Sauter GmbH have jointly developed a hydraulically swivelling front lower links system for use with mounted front and rear mower combinations. This reduces or even completely eliminates strip of grass being left when negotiating bends and mowing on slopes. This makes a significant contribution to higher forage quality, especially on tractors with wider tyres and a wide track width.

  • CLAAS reduces series production at Harsewinkel in a controlled manner

    The ongoing spread of the corona virus and increasing restrictions within the supply chain cause CLAAS to reduce series production in Harsewinkel in a controlled manner until the end of next week. It will initially be discontinued for three weeks until 17 April. While many national and international CLAAS locations continue to work, production in France had already been scaled back last week.

    CLAAS has opened the extension to its central Parts Logistics Centre in Hamm. After a planning and construction period lasting over two years the new high-bay warehouse has now been commissioned according to schedule.

    CLAAS, one of the leading international manufacturers of agricultural equipment, recorded a slight year-on-year rise in sales at €3.898 billion (prior year: €3.889 billion). Income before taxes fell to €136 million (prior year: €226 million).
