With the debut of its JAGUAR 960 TERRA TRAC model, CLAAS has become the first manufacturer to launch a forage harvester with a factory-integrated crawler track system. The new concept offers optimal soil protection under all conditions. An intelligent headland protection system prevents damage to the grass cover and enables year-round operation.
The new ORBIS 600 SD and ORBIS 750 maize front attachments feature both large and small discs for an optimal crop flow, high efficiency and functional reliability. With the DISCO 1100 RC conditioner mower unit, CLAAS has set a new world record for the amount mowed in eight hours. During this time frame, the machine mowed a total of 141.1 hectares of alfalfa with a roller conditioner and an average yield of 5.24 tonnes of dry mass per hectare. The previous world record was thus surpassed by more than 40 hectares.
Following the initial excellent results from its partnership with Liebherr, CLAAS is now adding further wheel loader models to the product range, in the 5,6 and 9 tonnes category. The three new TORION SINUS models, with their unique steering concept, combine maximum manoeuvrability with high payload capacities, plus ground speeds of up to 40 km/h.
Under ett pressmöte i Österrike den 18-19 juli presenterade CLAAS en rad nyheter för den internationella pressen. Bland annat visades nya TORION SINUS. Den finns i tre storlekar, från 5,5 till 9 ton med en effekt på 68 till 106 hästkrafter med en hastighet på 40 km/h.
Åtta dagar efter att TORION visades upp för svensk publik för första gången är nu den första såld. En TORION 1177 såldes idag till en kund i Växjötrakten.
I ett samarbete med DLL erbjuder nu Swedish Agro Machinery uthyrning av traktorer. En ARION 410 kan hyras från 166 kronor i timmen och en AXION 870 CMATIC från 299 kronor i timmen.
